Intereng was founded in 2006 by experienced engineers and managers with production concepts, product platforms and market knowledge in modern fault locating devices. Intereng Tech registered in 2008 and after participation in Germany’s top industry show for cable network operators is awarded a major contract for the first supply of six automatic test vans to a major European utility.

In 2010 the company launched a minimised mobile system platform (MX), designed for a broad range of cable test & fault locating tasks. This platform concept delivers the industries highest degree of customisation and presents an optimal balance between cost & function.

2014 saw the introduction of a new Time-Domain-Reflector family for analysing and locating core cable faults. With the goal of continuous improvement across all of the product groups, 2016 saw the redesign of pinpointer family and the introduction of the high precision sheath fault pinpointer, Locator S.

The release of an all-new portable line of automated systems in 2018 see a new benchmark in performance and ergonomics. Boosting top engineering, convergent technologies and modern user interfaces the new devices enable faster, safer and easier workflows.
